2005 National School of Character - October 2005

ANSER Charter School was recognized by Character Education Partnership (CEP) as a 2005 National School of Character award recipient, one of only 10 schools nationwide to receive the honor.

Chosen from 100 applicants, ANSER Charter School met CEP’s stringent Character Education Quality Standards, CEP’s premier document in defining excellence in character education. Each winning school receives a cash award of $2,000. Learn more. (pdf)

Boyer Center Best Practices Award - March 2004

The Boyer Center at Messiah College, located in Grantham, Pa., selected ANSER Public Charter School as one of its two winners of the 2004 Boyer Best Practices Award, a national awards program that celebrates exemplary practices by elementary schools based on a specific theme.

The theme of the 2004 award was “Service Learning: Connecting Curriculum and Community.” The Boyer Best Practices Award provided $10,000 to each of the two winners. Makefield Elementary School in Yardley, Pa., was the other 2004 award recipient. Learn more. (pdf)
